This is the best and complete tour to understand Tibet and to know
well about the culture, nature, religion, people, geography, flora n
fauna etc. Those people who have enough time at least from 15 to 20 days
may profit and will have this one of the great opportunity of life. It
can be started finished in Nepal. It can be done alone, in a small group
or in a big group. The bigger the group, the bigger the chance of being
less expensive. The whole trip of both parts will be accompanied by the
concerned language speaking, experienced Nepalese Tour Leader who knows
everything about both of the places. We fly out to Lhasa and drive back
to Kathmandu visiting all the important places of Tibet including the
Everest Base Camp. This is the best program.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Transfer to hotel. If we have time, visit Kathmandu Valley.
Day 02: Visit Kathmandu, Swoyambhu, Patan
Day 03: Visit Pashupati, Bouddhanath, Bhaktapur
Day 04: Kathmandu Pokhara
Day 05: Pokhara Early morning to Sarangkot for Sunrise in the Annapurna Ranges, rest of the day free.
Day 06: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan
Day 07: Full day jungle activity in Chitwan
Day 08: Chitwan Kathmandu
Day 09: Kathmandu Lhasa, and transfer to the Hotel, rest of the day free for acclimatization.
Day 10: Lhasa visit; The Potala Palace, Drephung Monastry
Day 11: Lhasa Visit; Sera, Norbulinkha, Jokhang Temple with Barkhor.
Day 12: Lhasa Gyantse via the turquoise lake Yamdrok Tso
Day 13: Visit Gyantse and drive to Shigatse, visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastry
Day 14: Drive from Shigatse to Xegar (There is a hotel but not as good as in other cities, no choice)
Day 15: Drive from Xegar Shakya Monastry and continue to Rongbuk (As it lacks the comfortable hotel, we have to accept whatever condition provided as there is no choice)
Day 16: Drive from Rongbuk via Tingri to Zhangmu ( as there is no acceptable place to stay a night, we start driving early morning to arrive to Zhangmu)
Day 17: Drive from Zhangmu to Kathmandu
Day 18: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 19: Departure Transfer
